Anything missing from this list means another round of questions. If it all arrives in the first message, the quote comes back sooner.
Plant list
- Species, ideally with the Latin name
- Quantity of each
- Height, stem size or container size
- For topiary, the shape: ball, cone, spiral
Delivery address
- Full address or a location pin
- Whether an articulated lorry can reach the site
- Whether there will be a crane or forklift for unloading
Timing
- Target delivery date or week
- One delivery or several
- When planting is due to start
Photos and drawings
- A few photos of the planting area
- The landscape plan, or a hand-drawn sketch
- A photo of a plant similar to what you have in mind
Choosing on site, by appointment
Two trees of the same size can still differ in crown, stem line and leaf colour. With specimen trees and topiary in particular, plenty of clients prefer to choose for themselves.
Call or message us to book. Selection takes place in whichever production region the plants are growing, and we'll agree where to meet when we fix the date.
Send your list ahead of the visit and we'll set aside plants in your sizes before you arrive.
What we need for an export enquiry
We have shipped plants to 12 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. For a new destination the first question is always its plant import rules — some species are banned outright, others need extra testing.
Phytosanitary certification, labelling and container preparation are done here before dispatch. From you, we need:
- Destination country and delivery point: port, bonded warehouse or site
- The importing company, and its import permit if one is required
- Species list with quantities and sizes
- Any known rules on soil or growing media in the destination country
- Target shipping date

Can I get a quote for a single tree?
Yes. We need the same details as for a larger order: species, size and delivery address.
Can I visit without an appointment?
Loading and maintenance go on at the sites every day, so visits are by appointment only. Call or message us and we'll find a day that suits.
